(Chris) So now we have an overall calendar for the year’s activities and support from all of our leaders and parents. Next we’re going to show you three meetings
which make our program happen. The first is the monthly Crew Presidency meeting.

In our ward, we hold a Priests Quorum Presidency meeting each Sunday before Church. On the first Sunday of the month, we hold the Venturer Crew Presidency meeting
as a part of our Priest’s Presidency meeting. For this one meeting we add the Venturing Program VP, so that our whole Venturer Presidency is present.

Here’s how the meeting goes. We have Opening Prayer. Then Ben, our Secretary, reads the minutes from last month’s meeting.
|
|
|
|
|
Then we talk about Old Business. An important part of the Old Business is to find out how plans are coming along for the assigned activities for the next month.
|
|
|
New Business comes next. First we start with plans for activities for the month following. We look at our yearly calendar and make sure that these are still the things we want to
do. Then we decide which Venturer will be the chairman for each event.

|
|
|
J.D. and Ben fill out an Activity Planing worksheet on each activity and will give these sheets to the activity chairmen for these events.
|
|
|
Brother Gull asks whether we think that any activity chairman will need an adult consultant to help him plan his activity.
|
|
|
|
|
Other business we may talk about in this meeting is about how plans for our superactivity are coming and to get a report on Stake sports schedules.
|
|
|
Finally, I give Bro. Gull a moment for Advisor’s Comments and have a closing prayer.
