What is a TLC?

What is a Venturer Teen Leaders Council (TLC)?

A TLC* is a tremendous opportunity for young men to experience a different brand of leadership.  A specific crew might send its president or another representative to a stake TLC or a TLC sponsored for a BSA zone or district. This TLC then could be represented at a BSA Council or other higher level TLC, which might even send representatives to national Venturing events.

A TLC is like an elite crew. It uses the same Venturing methods, but operates on a broader organizational level.  It allows Venturers to band together to accomplish a broader good for the Venturers themselves and for their sponsoring institutions and communities.

* Note: Recent BSA literature changed the name Venturer Officers Association (VOA) to Teen Leader Council (TLC)
