Meeting summary
Olde English Fort Teen Leader Council (TLC/VOA)
June 16, 2005

Present: Matt _______ (conducting), Joseph ________, Parker ________, Kevin _______, Chris ________, Trent ________, Robert Lewis (Advisor)

It was reported that we have preliminary approval for our proposed 2005-2006 Olde English Fort District Venturing Calendar.  Assignments were made to the representatives of the various stakes to lead out in planning the five events on this calendar.  Youth representatives from the listed Stakes will be the chairmen for the particular event.  TLC Advisors will work with the respective stakes to identify and call consultants to assist with the planning.

Taylorsville Central (Kevin ________):
Nov 2005--Fireside (Prominent speaker--well-known athlete, LDS general authority, military hero??-- possibly a member of General Young Mens Presidency, do on a Sunday evening, use some time in this meeting to publicize the entire year's calendar and events)

Taylorsville Valley Park (Brady ________), Taylorsville North Central (_________):
Feb-March 2006--Community Service (Work with Taylorsville (??) city officials to identify a project)

Taylorsville (Parker _______ or replacement):
April 2006--Car Rodeo (Competition in driving skills, for example, backing, parallel parking, etc.

Taylorsville South (Chris ________), Taylorsville West (Kevin ________ or replacement):
June 2006--Rendezvous in Mountains (possibly Uintas–Long/Weir Lake area--Hike or backpack in from different directions. Come together for a day of games and activities.)

Taylorsville North (Levi ________), Bennion West (Trent ________):
July-August 2006--Venturer Games--Team or individual competition in (preferred activities):
     Capture the Flag
     3 on 3 basketball
     Golf
     Ultimate (Frisbee)

Youth Chairmen will report each month in District TLC meeting on progress. When plans are complete, the TLC will give approval. When event is finished, TLC will evaluate.

Next meeting is in connection with Round Table, August 11th, 7 pm, at the Taylorsville High Seminary.
