- Provide each participant with an actual experience in Priests Quorum-related Venturing (e.g., quorum/crew, and stake VOA), fully organized and functioning, using the Venturing method (young man directed, with adult advice/consultation), and supporting the Aaronic Priesthood purposes:
- Become converted to the gospel of Jesus Christ and live its teachings.
- Serve faithfully in priesthood callings and fulfill the responsibilities of priesthood offices.
- Give meaningful service.
- Prepare and live worthily to receive the Melchizedek Priesthood and temple ordinances
- Prepare to serve an honorable full-time mission.
- Obtain as much education as possible.
- Prepare to become a worthy husband and father.
- Give proper respect to women, girls, and children.
- Assist participants in completing Duty to God goals and help them to see how Duty to God blends with Venturing.
- Strengthen individual participants and staff in their conversion to the gospel of Jesus Christ and their commitment to missionary work.
- Help participants experience how priesthood quorum brotherhood may be developed and enhanced.
- Prepare participants for leadership roles in their Quorums and Venturer Crews and in future family, Church, and employment responsibilities.
- Motivate participants to apply skills and principles learned at PLC back home, to strengthen Priest quorums and Venturing programs in their home wards and to develop their own personal stature as sons of God.
