Great ways a member of the Primary Presidency can serve on the Pack Committee: (In order from most to least involved.)
1. Be the Committee. You would really be registered as the Committee Chair. This would only work in a tiny pack. If there is no other organized Pack Committee in the ward, the
Primary Presidency is the Pack Committee.
2. Be the Committee Chairperson. Hold a Committee Meeting* each month to plan Pack Meetings and coordinate how the committee members can support the Den Leaders and Cubmasters in their
meetings.
3. Be the Den Leader Coach. Visit and help with den meetings. Especially work with new den leaders to train and ease their way into their new calling.
4. Be the Secretary/Treasurer. Keep track of the budget monies and report at Committee meeting each month. Do #5 and #6 below.
5. Be the Secretary. Make flyers and phone calls for the Committee Chair. Do #6 below.
6. Be the Membership and Registration Committee Member. Make sure den and pack leaders have current lists of the boys and their birthdays. Register new Cub Scouts, Webelos Scouts and 11
year-old Scouts.
Also, make sure that den and pack meeting dates, times, and places are announced each week in Primary.
Remember to get fully trained-it's easier to make sure Cub Scouts is happening for these cute boys if you know what's supposed to be happening! And wear your uniform!
*In the current Cub Scout Leader Book, this meeting is titled "Pack Leaders' Meeting" or "Pack Leaders' Planning Meeting."
